It’s That Time of Year Again!

I would like to welcome you to the second edition of The Navigator, presented by AgAir Update. The Navigator is an offshoot of what was called the AgAir Update Show Guide. However, The Navigator still follows the basic theme of the Show Guide, just a little updated to reflect current conditions.

The purpose of The Navigator is to present a comprehensive printed and digital platform for AgAirUpdate advertisers and readers for the upcoming NAAA Ag Expo to be held in Savannah, Georgia December 5-9. The digital space, posted on agairupdate.com, includes more in-depth articles, photos and videos for each advertiser appearing on the printed pages of The Navigator. This two-step approach is especially important during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This brings The Navigator to the forefront of information for existing and emerging ag-aviation vendors.

As in the past, The Navigator will provide readers with information that will undoubtedly make ag-flying safer and more profitable. It also will help with business decisions to be made at the Ag Aviation Expo.

Because COVID-19 has affected all businesses in one way or another, it becomes more critical than ever for suppliers to the ag-aviation industry to continue to send their message advising AgAir Update readers of their product and services. Some have had to change ways of doing business, while for others it is business as usual.

In the following pages, you will know how your chosen suppliers are operating and their availability. This is what The Navigator’s mission is, bringing together readers and advertisers.

Also within the pages of The Navigator, you will read comments from NAAA’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Moore and NAAA President Mark Kimmel. NAAA has done a fantastic job organizing an international trade show that represents ag-aviation worldwide under very challenging circumstances. Additionally in The Navigator, you will find valuable information about events planned at this year’s convention in Savannah, December 5-9, hosted at the Savannah Convention Center with the Westin Savannah as the primary host hotel. There are some COVID-19 rules in place, but for the most part, you will enjoy the city like during any other time.

Of course, I can’t speak for Savannah authorities or the policies of NAAA regarding COVID-19. Anything can change overnight. I’m simply saying don’t let COVID-19 stop you from attending NAAA’s convention in December 2021.

In closing, I know we are all hoping and praying that the world will eventually overcome this pandemic. It will be great to return to normal where we can once again hug and shake the hands of new and old friends at next year’s convention, or on the job site without hesitation. Until then, please use The Navigator to help you navigate through the many choices for products and services available to ag-aviators during this challenging time. The NAAA and AgAir Update advertisers need your support as much as you need theirs! Especially this year, I look forward to seeing you in Savannah, December 5-9.

Until then, Keep Turning…
