We are bringing back last year’s remarkably successful fundraising event for NAAREF and PAASS! Pitching In For PAASS is a corn-seed bag toss game, also known as Cornhole, where players take turns throwing bags of corn kernels at a raised board with a hole. Join us for this friendly competition on Sunday, Dec. 5 from 7 – 10 p.m. at the Savannah Convention Center.
Pitching in for PAASS is a terrific social event with the added benefit of raising money for NAAREF and PAASS and the life-saving, environmental stewardship benefits those entities achieve.
Pitching in for PAASS will be a March Madness style tournament that will follow the American Cornhole Association rules. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the board scores 1 point. The first team to 21 points wins. Games will be capped at 20 minutes each. The scoring judges will call "last round" on any game that has exceeded 20 minutes.
Teams are two players each. There will be 64 total teams, allowing for 128 participants. The cost to participate is $110 per player. Participants will sign up for one of the following time slots: 7 p.m., 7:20 p.m. or 7:40 p.m. (please arrive 15 minutes before the time slot that you select).
The winning team will receive a fun gift to wear throughout the Ag Aviation Expo. In addition, they will each receive a $125 gift certificate to purchase merchandise at the 2021 NAAA Support Fundraising booth on the NAAA Trade Show floor on Tuesday and Wednesday.
