2021Agricultural Aviation Industry celebrates 100 years of feeding the world. TCL is proud to have been an active participant along with our Ag business, Hatfield Spraying Service, for over 50 years! There is always something new at TCL and 2021 was no different. TCL received STC SA04485CH for a header tank modification to solve problems Thrush aircraft owners were facing.
TCL also received its second ANAC approved STC in Brazil for the Hatfield Hydraulic Fire Gate. Our fire gate will be an essential tool in supporting the emerging firefighting program in Brazil. Approved for all models of Air Tractors makes it unique. Our partners Aeroglobo Aeronaves are available in Brazil to provide quality sales, installation, and parts support on TCL's behalf.
Finally, Custom Air's Air Tractor Tailwheel STC found its new home at TLC. We are currently supporting current owners with parts and service. Application has been made with the FAA so we can begin to build new tailwheels for interested customers.
In January TCL traveled to the University of Nebraska Testing Lab to run tests on the Zanoni Atomizer. The results were great. The feedback from customers using the Zanoni atomizers on forestry and mosquito contracts in the US & Canada has also been positive. TCL will host agronomist Dr. Henrique Campos who will share the benefits of atomizer use on row crop applications. We are proud to offer a worldwide network of Single Point Fueling Systems dealers. This network has been instrumental in making our SPF the #1 fueling system. TCL wants to welcome two new dealers; Beckman Aircraft Maintenance in Nebraska and Seal Aviation in the Philippines. Drew Beckman offers high-quality installations and is right in heart of the US ready to serve and our newest international dealer, SEAL Aviation is eager to serve the Philippine market and is representing our entire line of STCs.
TCL continues to find ways to support our turbine conversion customers. Owners of TCL's Walter/GE Ag/Fat Cat STC can now convert to Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34AG or -42AG with our approved ring modification. Owners of our other STC conversions can take advantage of our Field Approval Program for a transition from GE to P&WC power.
