Thrush Displays EEPC Aboard 510G at NAAA 2018

(Reno, Nevada) Easing pilot workloads for safer, less taxing operations has always been a hallmark of every Thrush Aircraft – and the Thrush 510G on display at NAAA 2018 is here to demonstrate the latest development in that regard:  A single-lever electronic engine & prop control (EEPC) which is currently undergoing certification testing at Thrush. Developed by GE Aviation, the EEPC increases ease of operation of the 510G’s GE H80 engine by ensuring the engine is always operating at and within its optimal temperature, fuel flow and torque parameters. Thrush flight test pilots report excellent responsiveness and simplification of start-up procedures as well. EEPC-equipped Thrush 510G’s are expected to be available once FAA certification work is completed in 2019.
