Wendell, MN – The Minnesota Agricultural Aircraft Association (MAAA) is pleased to announce the election of Boone Carlson as its new President. With 40 years of dedication in the aerial application industry and eight years of service on the MAAA Board, Boone Carlson is uniquely equipped to lead the association in advancing aerial application practices across Minnesota.

As the owner of a successful aerial application business operating in both Wendell and Wheaton, MN, Boone has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the aerial application sector. His extensive experience positions him to effectively advocate for aerial applicators and promote sustainable agricultural practices throughout the state.

“I am honored to accept the role of President of the Minnesota Aerial Application Association,” said Boone. “I am passionate about this industry and committed to working with our dedicated board members, industry partners, and stakeholders. Together, we will focus on improving safety standards, enhancing education, and advocating for policies that support our community of aerial applicators.”

In his new role, Boone plans to support several key issues, including:

• Promoting best practices and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards within the industry.

• Strengthening relationships with agricultural stakeholders to advocate for the benefits of aerial application.

• Supporting innovation and sustainability in aerial application methods to benefit both farmers and the environment.

The Minnesota Aerial Application Association plays a pivotal role in representing the interests of aerial applicators throughout the state, and Boone Carlson’s leadership is anticipated to drive positive changes that will benefit the agricultural community for years to come.
