Oshkosh
For the seventh time, employees from AeroGlobo attended the EAA Air Venture in Oshkosh to visit the world’s largest aviation fair in the U.S.A. Over 14,000 modern and historic experimental and military aircraft were on display.
Oshkosh’s air show certainly didn’t disappoint. Beautifully set up by individuals passionate about aviation, the event showcased unexpected excitement, and was truly a must-see.
Air Tractor revealed the new AT-502XP aircraft at the event, and visitors learned about it from Rick Turner, the company’s Vice-President of Operations.
At Oshkosh, Air Tractor hosted a savory BBQ dinner and invited the Brazilian group, who got to see Rick’s grilling skills, first-hand. There were plenty of tasty meats and cold beer at the feast.
Chicago
Once the show ended, the group was off to Chicago to shop, eat, and take in all the attractions of the “Windy City”.
PWC – Montreal
One particular and memorable moment of the trip was the unexpected arrival of 22 AeroGlobo Brazilian ag aviation partners to the Montreal-based turbine factory, Pratt & Whitney Canada. During this tour, we had the privilege of meeting the President of Lane Aviation, Grant Lane, who joined us for happy hour and dinner. We also got to meet the rest of the company’s employees, including John Saabas, the President of PWC, who gave us a tour of his factory.
The group visited the production areas, and watched as support and testing were performed. Everyone was impressed with the arrangement, value and the eminence of the company. Over the course of the trip, we were graced with the presence of the technical representative of the PWC in Brazil, Claudio Ponce.
At the conclusion of the visit, the PWC served us lunch as we socialized in a relaxed atmosphere. New connections and partnerships were established between the PWC and its Brazilian clients. The visit, arranged by the esteemed Marketing Manager, Mr. Ryan Densham, ended with a historic meeting involving the PWC staff over dinner in a trendy restaurant in Montreal.
