Lake Mary, FL – AssuredPartners Aerospace is pleased to announce the addition of two aviation insurance professionals in the Midwest and Southeast United States.
Doug Bontrager has joined as an Aviation Insurance Sales Executive. Based out of Indiana, Bontrager will focus on providing knowledgeable representation to aerial applicators and other commercial aviation businesses. He brings ten years of experience as an aerial application pilot and has nearly 5,000 hours flying ag aircraft. In addition, Bontrager was the recipient of the 2016 NAAA Robert Horne Memorial Safety Award and is an experienced insurance agent, giving him a unique advantage that few insurance brokers can offer.
Kris Parsons has also joined as an Aviation Insurance Sales Executive. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Parsons gained extensive knowledge having previously worked as an aviation insurance underwriter for insurance companies and offers more than 19 years of experience including coverages for aerial applicators. In addition, he served as an Avionics Technician in the U.S. Marines and three years with the USAF Reserve as a Flight Engineer. Parsons holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings and is a Certified Flight Instructor.
